Its ok and does the job, simple to use. I needed to file in 2 states this year but refuse to pay more for the additional state than what I paid for the deluxe edition. Used a free online tax program instead . Document import is limited could not import banking information when other apps did it without issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

The basic program (MacOS) is great but there were issues with the program update to the point where I had to apply the update manually.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

II would have given a 5 however the app was always in my name Nancy. Last year the app changed to my husband’s name. I do not know why. The app had been in my name for many years and I am the person that does our taxes. My husband died this past June. Other than that I like the app.

We’ve been using your software for 7 years. I never really noticed how dated your it’s become. The interface is a mess. Too much of the screen space is wasted.
Navigation is worse. For example, switching among several in-progress returns stored in separate folders was bothersome. Why not have a “Recent returns” item under the File menu like every other application?
I’m got very frustrated while trying to correct problems during the review phase. It would find and highlight problems, but the suggested solutions were not helpful.
Sad to say, but I’ll be looking for another solution next year.
I’ll also be lobbying to simplify our tax model to counter the self-serving lobbying your industry does to keep it as it is.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
