I had to do a manual override to enter a 1099 misc form correctly for royalties, so something wasn't working right with the selections.

It gets the job done but could be improved The questionnaire has a few confusing questions & the help isn't as good as I think it could be. I have a problem every year in figuring out how to correctly handle my wife's inherited IRA based upon the program's interview questions. I even had to change my answer after I saw the results in the federal forms to be filed. I changed my answer to the next best answer even though the description wasn't what I thought was a best match. That worked. I switched from TurboTax when they removed the investments feature & put it in their most expensive version which is overkill for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I moved over to HRBlock from another major tax software recently. But I learned that HRBlock does not allow me to reduce my taxable income on a 1099 as a minister who has a housing allowance. TurboTax does. And this is vital for us.
