I have been using your software for a long time. I usually have no trouble. This year was terrible. I had to do taxes for a person who passed away and your software was causing the return to be rejected. I had to print it out and mail it as I could not efile. It kept saying I didn't fill out form 1310, that according to your software I did not have to fill out. Then when I tried to using your rejection instructions, I was unable to sign the form through the program, I could put in the date though. When I printed out form 1310 to mail, your program printed out 2 of them, one with box B checked, and one with box C checked. You failed me when I needed you most and made a difficult situation worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It gets the job done very well. I don't need to worry about attachments or forgetting anything. The only issue is one that I have mentioned for many years now. The program does a review and lets me know about any missing or questionable items. When I enter to go to them the program takes me to the actual tax return. It should take me back to the questions and answers that I gave. I should review that information and the program should then clear the problems.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I have used Block Deluxe software for many years. The 2025 edition was very difficult to work with.
I believed I would not have any federal tax due but I still needed to work thru the Block program.
It took several hours in each of 4 days and several 1099's for savings had to be requested. Other family members had negative comments about apparent AI inclusions in your 2025 software.
