I’ve used HRBlock deluxe for many years and enjoy the “interview” process for completing the ax returns. This year whether it is the software or my partnership reporting the verification process was less helpful. While the software noted the “errors, it did not specifically highlight the section or line number to review. Having the area highlighted would have saved a bunch of time. The other issue I had was not remembering where the federal 6-digit code is located (in the profile section) and being confused with the 5-digit password at the “signing”. I still would use HRB but improving the verification area would make me a happier camper.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have used H&R Block software for years. Easy to use, fast, reliable. 100% accuracy in downloads from my investment firm. I used to use Macafee, but got thoroughly disgusted with their spam and irrelevant notifications.
