Text size was way too small and hard to read without a magnifying glass. There should be an option to increase text size. Why was it a green color? Tax preparation is difficult enough without this added obstacle.

I’ve purchased this software for about a decade now. It is great in that you can preload historical data. The Included federal filing is Nice having to pay extra for filing the state is not so nice. Softer was straightforward and effective.

I have been using H&R Block tax software to file my taxes since 2006. I switched due to the value paid for the software versus other options. As they have added additional features it has continued to be my preferred choice, especially in years when I had to file in multiple states due to moving. It is easy to use and the help information built-in is sufficient to answer any questions that come up. Knowing I have audit support help if needed is a nice bonus feature.

I’ve used HRBlock deluxe for many years and enjoy the “interview” process for completing the ax returns. This year whether it is the software or my partnership reporting the verification process was less helpful. While the software noted the “errors, it did not specifically highlight the section or line number to review. Having the area highlighted would have saved a bunch of time. The other issue I had was not remembering where the federal 6-digit code is located (in the profile section) and being confused with the 5-digit password at the “signing”. I still would use HRB but improving the verification area would make me a happier camper.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
