Clunky at best, left out critical info on the 1040 form that I had to enter manually. In my experience, the *other* tax app is much sleeker and completes all forms automatically. The financial company integrations is better in other apps too. Overall, the experience was poor compared to alternatives.

The state program has been bugged for some users for multiple years. It was trying to charge me for state when I had purchased deluxe federal + state.
I realized that I had just paid it last year thinking it was a separate filing fee.
I had to download and install on a different computer to finish my taxes.
This is unacceptable theft from your users.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was fine until the last tax return for a family member. It was April 14th, and he finally found the last 1098R! The returns for federal and IN, until we tried to transmit both returns at the same time. We incurred a problem with the software not attaching the IN 2210 form which was prepared and showed no penalty due! The software came not allowing the In return to transmit. Finally, I printed the In-2210 and was getting ready to file the In return as a paper return and attach the 2210. However , I prayed and tried one last time and the federal and Indiana returns both transmitted and were accepted. Please advise what this happened, so that the stress can be avoided in a future year!
