Same great features as previous years, but don’t understand why we have to pay for filing an extension. Why can’t that be one of the five free filing submissions?

Pain in the butt this tax year (2024). Whenever I tried to submit a federal return this year I always got a 'server busy' error. Had to delete the task. The only solution was to reboot and resubmit before I did anything else on my PC. Big pain.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Good basic program but not up to complex situation

I've been using this software for multiple years and for the most part it gets the job done. I sometimes search on the Internet for understanding topics because the explanations are clearer than within the program.
This year was particularly difficult because of the current treatment of form K-1 I understand that this can be a complex form to deal with. But I'd like a software package that dealt wiht ALL the issues, not just the easy ones. Your software basically says"read the material that came with the K-1 and see your CPA!" It;s not like this is a rarely use form that would only apply to a handful of users.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is easy to use and has a comprehensive interview style. The carry-forward feature is especially useful; however, it appears inconsistent. There are data points that are not carried forward, like driver's license information at the end of the process. I also like the presentation of all options or possible interviews rather than having to go through each one answering No.

I've been using your software for over 25 years now. The only thing that would make it better was if I could print or copy the screens (currently that seems to be an option with only some screens).
