It worked out well but there was one error so I got rejected an had to put In a second time an I got charged 2 times for the state file. So look closely at all details before you submit

Comprehensive but could use better explanations.

Overall, it gets the job done. But on some topics, I think better explanations would make me more confident that I'm making the best choices. For example, with the AOTC interview it ends by telling me I don't qualify for the Earned Income Credit. But that's not what I was working through. It would be better to tell me I don't qualify for the AOTC because my earned income was $0. I'm assuming that's the reason. But I'm not confident that's the reason.

Cons: Time consuming

Badgered with dozens of irrelevant questions. For example, I was asked how much was my minimum required distribution from my retirement account. There was none. This tax rule won't apply to me until 2029 at the earliest -- which the software should know -- since it knows my date of birth.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The app is strong and reliable. No technical issues or problems for the past several years. Most topics are very well crafted and provide great help when needed. However, doing personal filing, they can definitely improve the K1 block 16 with ‘V’ checked area. This section is still very vague and provides very little help or resources to help navigate through it.

Issues remain with double sided printing of forms. Also not good options to have both a need to amortize the premium on a bond and bought a bond between interest payments. Otherwise a quite excellent product.
