Been buying HRB for years from AZ downloads--obviously like the product but flexibility could be improved!!
IE, if needed access from another location, it's almost impossible to achieve!! Suggest a customer should be able to gain access from anywhere certainly would improve the access flexibility.!!
Another point is c/s is difficult to contact if needed!

I've been using the H&R Block Software for years and, while I sometimes find it confusing, it's gotten the job done every time. I haven't tried any other tax software so I can't really make a comparison. Being able to access the full form was useful this year in resolving some questions I was having.

I used HR block this year again for my taxes. I checked the box which said my dependant would be claimed by her other parent this year but she would be my qualifying head of household dependant. HRB decided to inport her from last years taxes as my claimed dependant which caused her other parents return to be rejected and both parents had to figure out why this happened. HRB still showed i had her checked as do not claim yet still claimed her.

Been using for years. Had that issue in 2024 where it wouldn't e-file correctly but been good every other year. Importing previous year return and data is great to speed stuff up. Also can connect to brokerage and financial websites to import your tax form data automatically too. That's great with stock trades etc.

Good product but on the Virginia state forms need to automatically put in credit for military retiree income that is exempt from state tax. Most veterans will not click on a military tab which is required.
