Problem with form 3695. I finally got it resolved by your people, but it was clearly your problem and took several hours over two days to resolve.

The end review was exact on a major correction, which was well received after the bungled job with the 2023 return. What needs improvement is the ability to print the operation notes screens. Having to copy flash screen info by hand is a terrible time waster.
Cons: Time consuming

THE SYSTEM PROVIDES A REASONABLY EASU METHOD TO GET THROUGH TAX FILING. ONE PROBLEM WHICH SEEMED HARD TO GET AROUND WAS PERSISTENT PROMPTS IN A NUMBER OF AREAS WHICH WOULD NOT ALLOW THE FILING TO PROCEED EVEN THOUGH THE INFORMATION REQUESTED WAS CORRECTLY ENTERED. SEVERAL TIMES, THE COMPUTER HAD TO BE SHUT DOWN AND RESTARTED FOR THE PROCESS TO CONTINUE. WHEN THIS HAPPENED, IT WAS MORE ANNOYING THAN MAKING THE PROCESS IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

I have used HR Block Tax Software for many years. It is easy to use. Very intuitive data entry. Accurate results. I have never had a problem with filing. Refunds are issued soon after filing for both state and federal tax filing.

One problem caused the state to fail on first try resulting in the need to resend. The Fed software gave me the option to enter my driver's license - but then the state software had me do the same, but for some reason, even though I entered it the same - the results came out different because it seems the formatting between the two were different. Since I didn't catch it - the State return was rejected, needing to be resubmitted for that only reason.
Pros: Maximizes refund

Excellent Software, Frustrating Interface Design

Great software—no complaints there. But the user interface leaves a lot to be desired. The font sizes are fixed, with no option to enlarge them, and the display is constrained to only about a quarter of my screen. I'm sure I'm not the first to raise this issue. You've done a great job keeping up with tax law changes—why not also invest in creating a more flexible and user-friendly layout?
