I probably won't choose HRB next year. This year was problematic. There was a very obvious bug in the software that made it look like I owed 6 times what the actual forms showed I owed. That was fixed when I updated software, but it should have been able to tell me to update the software, and that should have been easier to do. Also, it made a few mistakes uploading from Schwab and W2 data. Thank God we double-checked! And it was totally unhelpful on some obscure question we had. We spent days searching for help elsewhere. All in all, a big fail. OH, and marketing obscured hidden costs that were inclusive previous years.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
