Great except for one poorly implemented change.

As a long-time user, I'm obviously satisfied, but the 2024 version had a confusing implementation of the Required Minimum Distribution section. Poor implementation and/or instructions were baffling. Trying several different ways to enter my data the program failed to recognize that I had in fact met IRS requirements (and therefore assigned a huge penalty). I finally opened the underlying form and entered the data. Before sending it in, I called the support line and a very smart young man understood the problem and guided me through the maze. I gave him high marks.

Software was good. Filing was not. 1st return for a family member did not show submitted. Return sent multiple times because of this. Charged twice for state return. Took several contacts to get refunded and both state returns were cancelled with no message they were both cancelled. Struggled to get the state return resubmitted.
