Easy but thorough process to complete tax returns. Nice to be able to electronically submit Federal - a little pricey to file state tax so chose to file via mail.

I suggest adding an audit trail so that the user can get back to the input from the return totals. Also show the tax calculation math for more complex situations.

Software installation incomplete. I had to pay the fee for State *twice*, once to get to get me access to State and second to file the completed form electronically.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've been using the H&R Block Deluxe software for several years. The instructions are easy to follow and "Chat" is available for any additional questions. The auto renew price is very reasonable.

I found this product satisfactory. In some respects it did well but in some other respects it did not. Does not allow overrides in such cases as overrides prevent e-filing.

I had to cash in an IRA this year and I found the instructions dealing with annual required distribution were confusing. I had to keep playing with the numbers to get to the correct configuration to avoid a penalty since my normal distributions satisfy my required annual distributions.
