Been using Deluxe for at least a decade. Guided dialog is excellent. Help is comprehensive. Navigation is flexible and easy. Transition from year to year is seamless. This is a great product. Now if only my state would accept free e-file, the whole process would be a breeze.

This is my 3rd year using H&R Block Tax Software and I will continue using it going forward. The software takes me through the process step by step, makes it easy and economical to file and my Federsl and State returns were accepted and processed very quickly!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Product worked but I was disappointed that the state version did not have the form for calculating underpayment penalties. Also the attachments and worksheets when printed were not formatted well and looked unprofessional

HR Block's Tax Software only aims to get more money from you, no matter what level of the product you initially buy. It is a masterclass in bait and switch practice, as it autocompletes forms and keeps them behind additional paywalls multiple steps of the way.

I'm pretty happy w the federal tax return. However, I don't understand why I have to go through all the rental screen to get to gas.
The state is very weak. I do all the individual stuff, like medical, because it is supposed to be brought over to the state. Doesn't happen.
