Worked great, no problem importing Turbotax files

I bought last min due to Intuit Turbo Tax being buggy this year, could not update, could not download state files, and thus could not file. H&R Deluxe imported my turbo tax files and I was completely filed in 30 min. Turbo Tax was a total loss of money. It NEVER worked this year.H&R Deluxe did exactly what was needed with no problems. I will see you next year as I will NEVER use Intuit products again.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have used Deluxe software for almost 2 decades. I have never had an audit or needed to file amended returns. The step by step process is easy to understand. Import features have improved greatly and ensure very accurate data. Must have for both Fed and State returns.

I tried the free online version for the first time this year. It was absolutely horrible. I couldn't move around easily to see where entries were applied, couldn't view forms. After wasting half a day fighting with the "free" version, I finally gave up and bought the downloadable version (Federal+State). Then it took me only a matter of minutes to complete everything. For the Federal+State version, I rate this 5 stars. For the "free" online version, I would give it 0 stars if I could. The 2-star rating is below mid-range because of the total frustration with the online version. DO BETTER!

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
