I have been using H&R Block software the last 10 years and has usually done a good job. One year the state form had a glitch which included my retirement pay as taxable income even though it was not taxable and I had the correct box marked. This year, I needed more charitable lines for itemized deductions. So, it is not always perfect.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really pushed the Premium and state. Signed up for and was a nightmare. Could not get loaded. No support. Never worked. They did refund the upgrade. Hours lost.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
