I have used H & R Block for several years. This year a had more difficulty than most. The reason: I was confused regarding when to enter my RMD. After I had entered the information once, it seemed to require another entry and this drove up my income and my taxes owed. I had to refer to my last year's fed. tax filing and the prepared 2024 form to find what was making the difference, and what was the correct way to enter the RMD data. I think this aspect of the program needs to be re-worded to give more clarity to the user. Otherwise, the process was fine.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product would not allow me to file and I had to print out and mail taxes. But what really upset me was the program telling me I had to be married in order to have two separate offices for my two separate legal small businesses. I have used your program for as long if not longer than my 13 year old businesses and never had this issue. Then I was told if I wanted to file a software ticket to your people, I would have to pay. I do not feel as a customer I should have to pay to FILE a ticket for YOUR software glitch to be fixed. If it was my personal mistake I made in using your program, I would understand but according to your people who answered my 4 phones calls lasting over 6 hours I was not making a mistake and I had to screen shot and send the error I explained. Greatly considering and actively looking for new option to file my taxes next year and rest of future. I have been with H&R Block for over 25 years and was treated terribly in my time of need.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I buy this every year. Haven't had any problems until this year. Finished federal, no problems. Finished state. Said problems with federal. Said to fix. Everything to be fixed couldn't because it was what was on the w-2. One was line 3 should be different than 1 but that is never the case . It said if I can't fix I have to mail it. I contacted you. The person said everything was right. I'm not sure if I'm using this next year.
