Not as user friendly as Turbo Tax. My Fed return was rejected as I forgot to include my pin. As a result my Arizona tax was put on hold until I fixed my Federal return. I had to pay again to get my state tax filed.
I used H & R Block tax software as Turbo Tax does not run on Windows 10 and my old desktop will not allow me to update to Windows 11. I'll upgrade to a new desktop before next years tax season.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

from On the "Cloud"

There is a problem after I fill out my H&R Block Tax Return and try to save it to my PC. H&R Block software creates the desktop icons but does not place my tax returns there. Apparently, what it has been doing for my last 3 or 4 tax returns was indicating on the PC screen that my tax returns would be copied into my documents folder, but apparently the H&R Block Tax Software attempts to copy the tax returns to some place in the "Cloud." But I do not have, and do not want, any connection to the "Cloud," so my digital copies of my tax returns disappear. What H&R Block needs to do is to change the software to stop and let the User choose if the digital copy is sent to the PC Documents folder with the desktop icon linked to it, or if it is sent to the "Cloud". By the way, I know and you should know that the "Cloud" can be on servers on any country in the world and that data on these servers has already been compromised. Why anyone would want their income tax information stored on "Cloud" servers is something your customers should think about, because the "Cloud" has been hyped as secure but it is not. Where did digital copies of my tax returns end up is a good question for you to answer. Nickname: Unlucky User

Same principal as TurboTax which I had been using but became disillusioned with when they failed to claim a gift to charity even though I had entered it.Then they failed to follow through on their promise of a discount in purchase price the folliwing year so I switched to H & R Block.

Not happy with the software this year. Tried to do two state filing for my daughter, but couldn't e-file the second state (KY). Had to mail it in., even though I paid for the extra state to be able to e-file it. Also, it seemed like a number of entries flagged that were OK to enter ($0 entered in some boxes) - entry was correct, but it kept getting flagged for incorrect.
