Amended Return electronic transmission not possibl

I love Deluxe software and have used it for over 15+ straight years. However, I had to do my first amended return this year and the fact the tool could not be used to transmit my 2021 Amended Tax Return electronically was a major disappointment to say the least. This is 2025 and the fact this process couldn’t be processed electronically is unacceptable. Now with DOGE and IRS cuts, I have zero confidence my return sent registered mail will ever be processed. I’m furious.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Generally very happy with the product. This year I had some difficulties with foreign tax credits from four different sources. I think I finally figured it out but it wasn't fun. Figuring out what distribution date to use when there were multiple distributions was complicated.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Bought HRB software early January so that I could check my 'estimated tax' payment. Worked well. Also used it for filing my 24 taxes. Compared to TurboTax, I saved about $500 in taxes. I don't like not getting a CD for loading, but I guess there was no choice.
