The software wasn't user friendly regarding the RMD for IRA withdrawals. The interview was not accurate with the questions asking about the withdrawal. It never asked the basic question, did you withdraw the amount you were required to?
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great software easy to use

I am a repeat customer for over 15 years. Having live backup has been a valuable asset as well. Easy to incorporate prior year uses.

Good tax software

I have used H&R Block for 5 years now and it has worked well. Each year gets harder to understand just what it is wanting. Needs to be more user-friendly.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

Fast and easy tax filing software

Multi year user of this software for my tax returns. Filed on a Tuesday and had refund deposited in my checking account on Friday. That was an excellent turnaround.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

T24 File transfer

I've used H&R Block for years now and thought it could transfer data from any previous 'T' file however I did not have the T24 file from 2024 on this particular PC. I did have T23 which the program would not accept. Also had the pdf file from 2024 which the program indicated it could use. The only data that transferred was my wife's self-employment details from the 2023 tax year. Very aggravating.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Efficient and Cost Effective

I submitted my return on February 1st, and received my refund on February 9th. Very efficient step by step questionnaire at a cost effective price. I was surprised there is a planning module built in for next tax season.
