pay very close attention

I efiled both my federal and state taxes together a week ago. My federal was approved the next day, my state is still pending. After a couple days pending, I investigated why my state return might be pending and noticed that the refund amount shown on the state efile summary had a DIFFERENT amount than my printed return. I am currently waiting for the state to reject my state return so I can refile. Not a happy camper, and no idea how this happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Get's the job done, but EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that you can't print to a pdf like prior versions without downloading and installing some other PDF software from God know where. Time to return to TurboTax.

Good but I got charged for State

Finished with little confusion

Everything went smooth until I got to final check. It kept wanting Info on worksheet that had been previously entered. Done. Submitted electronic and two weeks later get email that I have submitted and another email at the same time that irs has accepted it. This is unacceptable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This program has fewer in-app ads than other tax preparation software products.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Easy to use and test options.

I've been using H+R Block software for several years now and find it easy to use and can play around with figures to see if for example, adding more to my retirement will save me money and make it a viable option.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Very slow responding this year

I filed my taxes on 1/26/26, and did not get an email from Block until 2/11/26 saying my taxes were filed. The application had already said, on 1/26 the taxes were accepted. By the time the email came, I had my
refund and was spending it. Block is very disappointing in 2025!
