Horrible software.

This was the most troublesome tax filing ever. What happened to the seemless transfer of data from Federal, to State, to School District returns. You guys have a real problem with your software this year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally very good

This is my first year of filing taxes following retirement and my first year of using a H&R Block softward program and it was very smooth sailing through the filing process. Where I hit a speed bump was trying to figure out how to download a PDF copy of my taxes so I could send it to my financial planner. Looking at the software I saw no way to do it. After googling my problem I found that you first click on print and then see a very small box to click for a PDF copy. I hope they make that feature a bit more user-friendly in the future
Pros: Easy to prepare

Ease and Dependable

I have used H&R Tax Software for many years now. Your software has improved by leaps and bounds since I started using it. I especially find useful the automatic carry over my tax information from previous years, as well as the ability to import data from my financial institutions. Finally, the no frills electronic filing and printing even though I might not have the most up to date printer software. Your attention to my needs keeps me coming back year after year

Good to start. Went downhill fast!

I was happy with the software in the assistance preparing my taxes. However, at the end, the software would not let me exit until I prepared a review. I don't like being held hostage. Especially with something this relevant

For many years i purchased Turbo tax program. Never again. Instructions are confusing and more advertising for additional fees.

I was happy I was able to use this software with windows 10 since I did not have capability for windows 11 on my current computer.
