too difficult to follow, jumps to too many pages, revisions not always taken. I'll see a human next year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

all screwed up

For some reason, your program is showing that I died in January 2024 when it was actually my husband. It won't let me file electronically because i am supposedly deceased and it shows that on the return which means your program isn't worth what I paid for it since I will have to find another program in order to file my tax return.

Skip the AI - way, way off

Early on using the AI Assistant I entered the question: "Correct Value for Form 8606 Line 6".
AI Response? "The correct value to enter on Form 8606, line 6 is the total distributions you received from all your traditional........." I won't continue the answer, as it is obvious that this answer is way wrong and if used to guide your entry, would cause all sorts of issues for yourself. "Distributions" is NOT the correct value to enter. Per the IRS instructions: Enter the total value of all your traditional IRAs as of December 31, 2025, plus any outstanding rollovers. Note it states "total VALUE" > not > "total DISTRIBUTIONS".
I did just re-enter the question after yet another update (too many this year to count) and the AI Assistant has now come up with a much better and accurate answer. That one mistake made earlier has made this untrustworthy. Do not advise using it.

No Summary & Horrible Printing Format & Poor Help

Other software like TacAct had great summaries after completion that showed among other things, capital loss carryover. This software has no summary. What's worse is the printing format is dreadful especially if wanting to print worksheets with return. There are improper page breaks. A paragraph will bleed into the next page in an unseemly fashion. The only benefit over TaxAct is the price when bought the day after Thanksgiving. Plus, not great online / in-software help. I had to often consult external AI to figure stuff out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
