Poor interface and user experience

Would not let me electronically file a 2024 amended returj. AI features are primitive and not helpful. Would not respond to questions on actual numbers entered across different froms. Responds with bland responses to bland questions only. ChatGPT was much more helpful.
Interface hasn't changed in at least 10 years and user experience is poor. Will not use again.

Software Error

While the software is fairly easy to use it incorrectly calculated the value entered in Column F of the Indiana state form IN-OCC. This will likely cause an error in my my 2026 taxes next year and this error effects tax credits which will be carried over next year. It also causes me to be suspicious of other possible errors in the software which I am unaware of.

Unable to import financial information from Merrill Lynch. I may switch back to Turbo Tax next year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Easy to use

Have used H&R Block for over 20 years. Originally used the other one. I stay with H&R because it's Easy to Use, accurate.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have used this software for several years. It has always been straightforward and (to the best of my knowledge) accurate. The only issue I have ever had is waiting for all forms to be finalized before I could file which I believe to be an IRS time delay.
