I bought this several mths ago (dec or jan). In early february after I thought I had finished, there was an "odd" section having to do with my RMD. That section disappeared by the middle of march. Thank you. I had never had that problem before.
I do wish you had an option to print out the quarterly mail to IRS money forms. I am retired and need those. Otherwise good product.

Antiquated UI with Unreliable Search Capabilities

Navigating the UI feels like something from 20 years ago, but it works for e-filing. The search feature seems useless for finding special topics or help with less common problems. Had to rely on Internet research to figure out which form I had to manually edit. Much room for improvement.

For the second year in a row the software failed to install on 2 of my Windows 10 or 11 computers. It only installed on my Dell windows 10 system. Your help deck could not solve the problem.

Have used H&R tax software for over a decade and like how easy it is to use. With previous years information there is very little required to start new return except to answer few questions on any personal status changes for the year. I really like the real time tracking of taxes owed/refund as you move along with inputting income and deductions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

Keep Supporting Windows 10 - Turbo Tax divorced me

I am a longtime TurboTax user who switched to H&R Block because tt no longer supports windows 10. I made the switch fine, age 75 and not tech savvy, and fed was ez. State of Indiana was sketchy. would not let me e-file, had to file by mail. Saved $20 but inconvenient. I needed to amend return and fed was ez, state was more complicated since it was a snail mail. I'll be back next year.
