I have used H&R Block for many years. In the past, it was easy to use and made tax filing a breeze. However, this year was a bit clumsy. I am an early filer. The application had multiple errors due to the February 6th update. I had several 1099R's that could not be corrected using the data verification tool. It wasn't corrected until I went back into the 1099 data entry fields, made the updates, and saved the return. It was a bit frustrating . An inexperienced user would have been hours on the phone with tech support. I feel it would have been helpful to provide guidance on how to correct the data.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent product at a reasonable price. Gave 4 stars because the update process did not work for some unknown reason this year. Had to download updates manually outside the program and then install into the program.
