The software works great but my issue is I bought the Deluxe + to file my state taxes. The extra charge to file was unexpected and felt like you weee double charging me for the filing. I expected to be able to file with the software purchase along as with the federal.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Used product for years and generally a good product. However, I find it concerning that I get multiple updates after I have already filed taxes - how do I know if the updates impacted what I filed. Also, I follow the interview process section by section and enter required data, but when I get ready to e-file, the accuracy check always says there is data missing - this should be caught during the interview.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Took several days and several HOURS on the phone with approximately 5 different agents trying to download the software to my computer. I was advised to buy another computer even though I have over 10 years of HRBlock tax software on my computer. Finally gave up and downloaded it to my wife's computer and was able to efile my taxes.
It looks like I will be trying something different next year after over 20 years with HRBlock. My windows 10 computer seems to be ok for everything except for HRBlock software, so if I want to maintain my tax history on one computer, HRBlock is forcing me to go to a different software. Sorry for that because the ease of downloading and using for over 20 years has been great.

Usually use this program to do my taxes. Works okay. Kinda of fill in the questions with your info. I think it's getting all the deductions I require. I do like the fact you can file your taxes through the program for federal and state. Also nice you get a notice when your taxes were acc. The only problem I see is the program costing more ever year. Guess everyone wants a bigger piece of your funds!
