The software was intuitive and I was able to complete my tax return in a short amount of time. The only thing I messed up on was not noticing where I entered the 6 digit pen the IRS sent me. I think that could have been made to stand out more obvious.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I purchased this in December and after all of the necessary paperwork for filing came in - in less than 2 hours I had my returns done and filed with the Feds and State. Extremely easy to use; auto-checks and other features helped explain confusing/difficult portions of the return.

I have used this software for years. It is intuitive. It won't let me rush things and make mistakes. I find it easier to download from the Block site than anywhere else (looking at you AMZ). Because my state doesn't have an income tax, I cannot address that.

I purchased the deluxe plus state and found it to be terrible with print too small for me to read and no apparent way to enlarge to full screen that I was able to find, Download of the "free " State was less than friendly, The program kept asking me to "buy" the State? Program also said that State Taxes could be paid with a credit card but that option was not available and I had to use a debit card. Looks like I have to go back to TurboTax.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
