I have used H&R tax software for decades and have never had a problem until this version. My case number was 26626949 and the "issue" took weeks to resolve delaying my refund while I waited helplessly. I am seriously disappointed in the resolution process and have lost trust in your product.

We've been using TaxCut for... longer than I can remember. 10 to 20 years? One year, we bought Turbo Tax and gave up on it. It didn't seem nearly as easy to use as Block's, so we put that one in the trash and bought TaxCut again and have been using it ever since. Our taxes aren't that difficult but they're not so easy, either since we both have investments.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Interface feels outdated, convoluted, and is not clear in some parts. Too much up-sell. Document import couldn't find one of the major banks. I e-filed through the desktop application but the status shows as "Not Filed", even though I received an email confirming successful submission and an email confirming that the IRS has accepted the return.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Confusing directions especially for the state. Hard to know what to do according to the information given. I have done my income tax for over 40 years. This was the worst year yet.
