As always, the software saves me a a lot of time. Some data warnings seem unnecessary, like no social security income at my age b/c I haven't started taking it yet. There are some warnings that are references to lines on forms with no accompanying information, which in turn leads to time-consuming "rabbit hole" searches. Were it not for this I'd give it five starts.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Federal and State software. I'm happy with the Federal program and have used it for several years. For the 2024 tax year the State program for Montana was inadequate. I hoped there would be an improvement for the 2025 tax year but it remains inadequate for my situation. Both years I have submitted paper returns for my Montana obligation. I will not purchase the Montana program in the future.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
