Okay program generally, but it would not let me file electronically because of a need to update one particular form (5329). After awaiting for each update, it continued to delay finalization. It was one simple line of calculation that was correct, but it didn’t matter. Since the form was a supplemental instrument and could be filed separately, I chose to do this and not delay further. I was disappointed since I had to wait until March to file.

user for 15 years, this year has the most glitches, especially the state. Several deduction did not transfer over. I barely caught it in time. Could have cost me hundeds of dollars.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use H&R Block Tax Software every year. Always easy to work with the program, except for this year when I had to do IRA RMD and the program lacked good information about the "IRA Basis".
Pros: Easy to import documents

Bought this program when it first came out, I kept it on , and used it last week to do our join tax return. Was overall easy to use. But , do wish that more 1099s where able to be downloaded. My wife has several retirement accounts that are reported on multiple 1099s.
