Wondering if all deductions were accounted for

Not entirely easy to use. During the time taken to complete the return, ran into several issues pertaining to AGI with the new deductions from the OBBB. With the added deductions was concerned regarding all the numbers.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

This is about the 10th time I have bought this product and I find it pretty good. This year, however, there was a change to the state software that prevented me from electronically filing ... had to mail it in with some forms that the state apparently wanted to support reductions in state income, i.e. Social Security and contributions to not-for-profits exceeding a particular amount.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Paid for State of Michigan - Absolutely USELESS

Very disappointed this year. I have been using H&R Block for years. For 2025, the State of Michigan return is not supported for flow-through credits. So, I paid extra for the State return capability but can't use it! Also, line 30 on the MI-1040, Credit for allocated share of tax paid by an electing flow-through entity, should be allowed to be overwritten! There is absolutely no way to get a number into this box. I am fearful that your carryforward numbers to the 2026 returns are going to be messed up as a result as your program says I owe much more money to the state than I really do due to the fact I can't put a number in line 30!
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm in control and confident with H&R Block Deluxe

I buy the Deluxe Federal + State tax program every year and complete my taxes with ease. I'm able to enter any income in interest, dividends, stock sales, pension, and other with all forms being filled out and incorporated to the Federal and State tax filing. All this and more at a very fair cost. To make things even easier I made a form that follows H&R Block's data entry sections. On my form I write in all tax info that I enter and any notes if needed (i.e. State payer ID need to be nine digits, add zeroes if needed) so that I don't leave out any data amounts. Each year I review my last year's data entry form to follow along with the current year's data entry, giving me a guide for my taxes. Once Federal is entered and checked I do the state which only takes a few minutes to complete. Years ago, I started with another "Quick" tax program, but it was complicated and very costly. H&R keeps it simple and very effective for a low cost.
