I have been a user for 10 plus years, and always received a notice when the new software was available. This year I had to search for it in January and found it came from a third party supplier. I was not happy but felt it was too late to turn to Turbotax.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Works ok but doesn't support major investment firm

I have used H&R Block software for years and overall think it works ok. However, I am VERY disappointed that it still doesn't support importing 1099 information from my major investment firm (Wells Fargo Clearing). Forces me to manually enter data. Cannot believe that I am the only disappointed user. Needs to be addressed by H&R Block. Fix it.

Overall was very good. What I found a little hazy were additions and subtractions from Federal to the state. It would be great if it could be made clear what additions and subtractions had already been made automatically by the s/w when that point on the state return is reached.
