this year was so easy that it was scary...... I actually printed it out and wen over it manually tp see if everything I inputted made the forms. It was flawless so I efiled it ..... Yeah 30 minutes tops. Of course I have been a previous user so all datd was preloaded based on last years return..
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

If you don't have a question, it is great. Fill in the blocks and it does a good job. But if you need help, forget it. My federal return went fine but when I got to the state, I had an error. The instructions said to enter a number (it told me the amount) on form CSA-1099R Block 16 before I could e-file the return. A couple of problems. OPM sent me the CSA-1099R so I shouldn't be able to change it and there is no block 16 on that form (It is kind of like having them say to add information to your W-2). I tried for 10 days to fix the problem. I have started over several times and went back and checked everything more times. So today I decided it was time for help. First, I got a BOT that didn't understand the question. So, after some time, it sent me to a real person. That person asked if I had deleted the return and started over and then logged off. She did come back and apologized.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software did a great job of collecting the info and was easy to understand. However, i purchased the Fed and State with e-file. i assumed that meant that my State could be efiled once with no extra cost, that was not the case. I had to pay to e-file my state.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Good program but given complexity of some of the senior items should have more descriptions. Maybe it does but didnt work well me on that. Overall though good program.
