I bought this instead of turbo tax since it no longer runs on Windows 10. It was a bit more challenging since I have used TT for about 10 years, but I'm sure will be easier next year. One not so good thing was that my bank, Wells Fargo, N.A., was not listed as a financial institution that I could import data. Why?? There than that, all was well.

Is lower price worth the change from Turbo Tax

Previous Turbo Tax user. Switched due to lower price and ability to save to my PC instead of the cloud. Turbo Tax was more user friendly to use. Examples are; clicking on a number on one form and it would take you directly to the worksheet. Could also go directly toggle between the interview view and the form view. A better summary can be clicked on any time. To move back to prior sections already worked on was easier to find the correct place.

I bought software online. Activation code did not work. Some forms are not supported. It is under developed for Mac platform.

I bought this for my Windows 10 PC which was not supported by my previous TurboTax. It worked fine importing my TurboTax data from last year. Just filed both my Federal and State taxes with no issues. I even received my refund just 5 days after filing.
Only suggestion is that the user interface is not as clean or user friendly as TurboTax.
