i was hoping that since i did my taxes with you last year it would be easier this year. I had issues getting info to auto fill from providers ein numbers. also found the help info for the DIV forms to be confusing
Cons: Hard to import documents

Used H&R Block Deluxe for 8 years. I trust it.

I have used H&R Block Deluxe for 8 years. I'm very happy with everything except the software update process. For the last 3 years the software tells me there is an update available. I accept the update. It seems to go through the process, but does not, and then tells me again it needs the update. I go to Help and find a work-around. I continue to use this program because I trust the tax calculation, filing, payment, and refund process.

I used your Deluxe fed + state form on my imax in spite of your indication that Deluxe required a 12 higher iMac program. It worked fine. BUT, It is annoying that you continue to (upgrade ??) thus attempting to force us to buy new computers to run your programs.

Overall, the software is comprehensive and easy to use. However, the cost to purchase is quickly becoming prohibitive, hence I will be looking for other less expensive options for 2026 taxes. One continuing glitch: Mineral royalties are a passive activity that for years, the Deluxe software incorrectly assigns as a "non-passive" activity. An override is necessary to remedy which then prohibits Federal eFile.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
