This is a very easy tax software product to use. It is very thorough and makes sure the proper forms are used. If you are a previous customer, it can import the previous year's data to save time in typing data.

Open a return started and saved. On this page, show me words that let me continue my saved partial return. You asked me, so this is my answer. You really care what loyal customers find good and bad?
I started to file my returns, and the email box came up with my email in it. I did not realize I had to click on it, and my filling never happened, with no note why. After two more attempts, I noticed the not sharp email, and tried clicking on it. Successful, three days later after seeing no confirmation. Tax prep for dummies like me!!!

In general, a very good product. One improvement/comment. If you enter a subsection (because you checked a "I have one of these") and subsequently enter some numbers. The numbers are then recorded. If you realized this was in error and go back and "uncheck" the original "I have one of these" the numbers don't disappear. Worse, you need to check the "I have one of these" to be able to go back and delete the numbers. This is tricky to figure out.

I use Deluxe with State. Generally works for me quite well for several years. I did have a couple of questions, and like everything else, seeking answers gets you an AI decision tree that doesn't get what you need. Usually a list of links to the IRS instructions. Given the ads always emphasize easy help desk available, I didn't find that so.

The program was flawless, but my biggest problem(it needs to be corrected) is completing the entry page to download the program...I spent over 2 days wrestling with this issue...I finally got ahold of a tech--a real person--and he solved my problem in 30 seconds...he said "type in each letter of the form and do not copy/paste"...he said it was a chronic problem he has helped people with...give explicit instructions at the beginning or allow "copy/paste" and I will give you 5 stars...thanks for paying attention to these comments
