Your "AI Help" and your Chat bot were completely unable to answer a very basic question I had while working through the survey. Unless you have live support in future years, I will not buy your program again.

I got the SW when it was on sale and it was a great value. It makes the whole process of getting all the relevant information from prior year and e-filing very easy. For some reason the SW seemed to take much longer than before to load but once loaded it was fine.

I've used this software for years and am mostly satisfied. It can be a bit wonky if you skip around at all. The cost to file a state return is ridiculous, and even worse is to use your federal refund to pay for it. Not sure why they even include it as an option.

I have used H&R Block tax software for years, and I have many old installation CDs. I have found it intuitive to use to wade through the mess that is Federal tax law to produce accurate returns. Never had any challenges and I know using the software has saved me considerable dollars.
I concern is that I am migrating away from Microsoft Windows to Linux as my regular operating system, and I would never use Apple. I prefer not to do my taxes online. For 2025 filing, I had to resurrect an old Windows computer to install Block software on to prepare my taxes since there is no Linux version or easy way to install Windows s/w on a Linux system. With the direction Microsoft has taken with Windows, I believe there is going to be more migration to Linux for better performance, less intrusion and bloat, and cost savings. I can wish that next year, I would be able to use Block on my Linux system as normally as before. How about it?

I switched from years of using Turbotax when they dropped their It's deductible option mid year. I'd much prefer loading my donation information as donations occur and uploading into my taxes than having to do it all while I'm doing the actual taxes. I'm pretty sure I missed a chunk of non-profit volunteer mileage as I just wanted to get done.

Cons: Hard to import documents

Some problems

Had some minor aggrivations, but was very frustrated trying to get 2026 estimated payments. Finally had to figure them manually, based on 110% of 2025 tax. This has been available in previous years, but finally confirmed with TurboTax that this was still an option. Did the calculations and entered the quarterly payments into the form.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
