Bought on sale late 2025, worst experience I've had in 15 years of using HR Block tax software. Totally unprepared and lack of communication concerning software updates for the four new deductions resulting from the July 2025 OBBB.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was disappointed this year's program was not updated to import to import Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith brokerage 1099-Div and 1099-B like I understand Turbo Tax was.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Oregon state taxes didn’t come out perfect for me or for my daughter. The program fills in a kicker amount (state term) but the amounts determined by Oregon were different. Small glitch x2. Federal was perfect for wife and me, and for two daughters. So easy. Won’t ever change brands.

I have been using the H & R Block software for at least 5 years, everything is good except for one part that needs to be fixed.When printing,I think any schedules that were not actively part of the particular return,should not be allowed to print.That would save time and money...
