Software had issues with entering 1099 INT & DIV information, it changed the payers name and took several tries to get it to accept the correct name. It also could not handle a 1099 B with box 6 checked.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used to be a good program. Updates take way to long. waited over 1 month to file because of depreciation worksheet.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I switched to using H&R Block in 2009, and never looked back. I am so pleased that you all have stuck to the same format for all these years. Every new tax year, I used to hold my breath when installing your software on my local computer, anticipating "Oh, this is probably the year that H&R Block decided they need to change everything from an easy installation and a very straightforward format to something 'new' that will surely disappoint me"
Well, you havent disappointd me! I think it's great that H&R Block has stuck to what works for all these years and stayed so consistent from installing the software to filing tax forms. For personal tax filing, H&R Block has to be the best!
