I've been using this software for over 20 years. The cost is well worth the peace of mind it brings. My only complaint is that the cost of one state filing could be included in the initial price instead of an add on.

Terrible Experience for the 2025 Program

I auto renewed this product and have been using it for about 12 years. I had so many troubles this year I had to resort to using the online product just to prepare my state return, which I'm not confident about. I would like someone to reach out to me to discuss this and make sure I am not auto renewed for 2026. I very rarely write reviews, and have never given a poor review until now.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had to have assistance to load the program and it required h&r giving me a new access code. Then that code did not allow us to efile. They had to furnish me 2 codes before it worked. Not as good as turbo tax but it was priced right.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
