I made my way through the program but I liked TurboTax much better. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to use TurboTax because it no longer works with Windows 10 and I am not able to upgrade to Windows11.

I have been using your software for years, always found it relatively easy to use and adaptable to my changing financial needs. Just hit my 73+ birthday, subject now to RMD’s and related deductions and found the software contained easy to understand instructions to assure I claimed all entitled deductions for my wife & I.

The biggest issue is trying to retrieve the previous years file!!! I tried to transfer the file from a desktop to a laptop but the program wouldn't transfer. We travel for the winter so getting the file on my laptop was important. I created an HR Block account but that didn't have last years file available as well. It shouldn't be that difficult to retrieve the previous years file. Having to do the taxes on the same computer is very inconvenient!
Cons: Hard to import documents

The current tax program is great. I've been using H&R Block software for many years. I have a complaint about the New York State program for 2021. We receive IRA distributions from 3 differest sources. The software did not add them together to put on the form. As a result, we were denied the enhanced STAR reduction on our school tax. It cost us in excess of $2000.00.

Cons: Time consuming

Its a good program, but I found that I could not e-file my state taxes . My wife died earlier this year. Paper filing required me to send all W2s, !099s, etc.--- a real pain.
