Overall experience was fine, but I did have an issue with foreign taxes paid. We hit a threshold on the amount of foreign taxes, unbeknownst to me, and the amount didn't show up on the tax form. Only after an AI session did I find out that a separate tax credit with additional info had to be entered. The software should have recognized the threshold and prompted me to enter the info, without me having to search around the web for guidance.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I've been using the HR Block tax software for 18 years. My taxes aren't all that challenging but I use the software to make sure I don't miss anything and to keep track of tax law changes. I like the software's user interface and process flow especially the fact that it's been consistent over the years - I don't have to learn new interfaces.
