Have always used HRB as my tax preparation software for both State and Federal. This year HRB could not eFile my state forms even though very little changed between last year and this year. It was a big disappointment. The mailing instructions provided was also incorrect and differed from the state's Department of Revenue website. This year's filing was a big step backwards from last year's filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has too many updates. Updates occur even after tax filing season is happening. One of the updates caused me to miss the tax deadline. I hit submit to IRS and then left. When I pulled it up two days later it said update needed before submitting. I had submitted another return three minutes prior to this one and it went through just fine. Very frustrating.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
