The only reason for this score is that erected were two items that should have been shown as something to correct.
1) I accidently started the trump account for a child but never filled out a name or any information regarding the dependent. At that point something should have been flagged as incomplete
2) I filled out the information regarding our Medicare premium. Later on I forgot to check the box for Meficare insurance coverage. This should have been flagged to correct or fixed by software checking that box.
As a former programmer edits of that kind should be always done for any possible inconsistencies.
Other, it would have been a 5 star review

I purchased the download version of H&R Block software. I have been using this software for several years and have been very pleased with it. It is easy to use and have had no issues with electronic filing. Have had to wait for update to complete part of tax input.

E-filed taxes about 6 weeks ago. No return yet. HR Block didn't update the software in accordance with an executive order that requires direct deposit. The HR Block software still had a paper check as an option and didn't find out about the executive order until I got a letter from IRS.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We usually do Turbo Tax. Bought this because we didn't have Windows 11. It wasn't quite as easy as Turbo Tax; but that could have been because of the differences of approaching questions along the way.
