I have used H&R Block to do my Federal and State income taxes for many years and have been completely satisfied. My 2025 experience, not so good.
Yesterday I received a notice from the IRS informing me that I had underpaid my taxes due by $1,829
I have since corrected the error including $14 for interest and penalties.
I am disapointed that your software did not catch this error

For two years in a row your software did not use correct info which cost me money or would have if I didnt notice. This year I had to fix an issue where you said my wife put too much in her 401K. But she didnt cause she had an increase in allowed deposits.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

In all the years I have used this was the second time the program had issues. ÌT would freeze. I would still use the program.I would have liked to been able to talk too a real person. I could not find that option.

It is a good program for income tax. One thing is I can’t print a display and only tax forms. I finally took a phone picture of it and sent it to my computer to be printed.
