Fell short of expectations, especially in regard to 401k rollover event. Also, could not file electronically with my state, once again, seems to happen every year, having to print and mail. No Fun. May try a different program next year, been using HR for several years after using Turbo Tax, but liked HR pricing.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 2nd time using H&R Block Deluxe Software and I will continue getting it each year to do my taxes. The software is very reasonable compared to others out there that you can purchase and it is very easy to navigate. I feel confident that I am sending in a very complete tax report and that everything has been done according to the most up to date IRS information.

I've used "the other" Tax preparation software since forever. This year I discovered one must have the newest System to run "their" product. I declined the adventure of buying a new computer to do my taxes and found H&R Block software fully compatible w/my older system. H&R Block's software perhaps isn't as graphics dense but for my simple taxes it was far more than adequate. Well worth the price.

Very disappointed that the "Married Filing a Joint Return vs. a Separate Return" or "Filing Status Calculator" under the FEDERAL -> MISC tab was not available in the 2025's Deluxe software. It was a very useful tool for my analyses.
