Been using H&R's download for several years, primarily because the program is had been using became to pricey for my liking. This years version of Block's program was not nearly as efficient. It felt much more complicated than years past. Difficult to find answers. I just didn't find the ease and confidence I've had in the past.

I was happy with the federal return and completed with no problems. However, the Missouri State return was unable to complete properly because the form had no way of adding the deduction of Real Estate taxes paid in the state of Missouri without printing and Mailing in the Tax return.
Why was that a problem? Please explain!

I have been using HRB since at least 1998. I remain disappointed that there not an easy way to import 1099. My bank exports a csv file and a quicken file. Why can't HRB import those?
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Product was easy to install and it imported my 2024 tax records OK from a competitive app. It just wasn't as intuitive on how to wrap up at the end and pay my taxes. I selected using a credit card but the tax records it printed gave me instructions on how to mail my check. Confusing!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
