I bought the Fed plus State because I thought I would owe the state of New Hampshire. However NH state was not available. As it turned out I owed NH nothing but paid the extra for the Fed plus State version. If it was clear that the NH version was not available I would have rated it 5 stars.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

The other previous years were much easier than this year but I still will purchase it but I think they made it more difficult to use.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used this software for several years and I am glad that I do. I submitted my returns and they were accepted within a few hours. And, the refunds were in my account only few more days later. The software is easy to use and has excellent directions, even when a question is researched. I will continue to use it for it's easy of use and security.

In general as an old customer of HRB I find the software I use most helpful but I have difficulty with its view of extimated tax no.4 paid January 15 being questionable
difficult to reach hrb when IRS does not agree with my (hrb) return

I was disappointed in this workability of this software. The buttons to advance to another page had to be clicked just so on the outer edge of the button or they didn't work. So annoying. Also, when I'd type a number into a box and then advance to the next box and start to type a number, the software would revert back to the first box and I'd end out having to delete that and start again. It happened on multiple pages.
