I paid for a second state tax program, but I could not get it to load. I used your online help and your AI help but they just kept referencing themselves and giving circular advice. In the end I could never use the 2nd state software.

The other previous years were much easier than this year but I still will purchase it but I think they made it more difficult to use.

In general as an old customer of HRB I find the software I use most helpful but I have difficulty with its view of extimated tax no.4 paid January 15 being questionable
difficult to reach hrb when IRS does not agree with my (hrb) return
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I was disappointed in this workability of this software. The buttons to advance to another page had to be clicked just so on the outer edge of the button or they didn't work. So annoying. Also, when I'd type a number into a box and then advance to the next box and start to type a number, the software would revert back to the first box and I'd end out having to delete that and start again. It happened on multiple pages.

I am a veteran user of this product. Several years without experiencing any issues. It is very user friendly. Previously I would have rated the software with 4 or 5 stars. However, this year I did experience a problem. After completing my return, I later (after e-filing) and looking over my printed copy found an error which will result in the need to file an amended return. My downloaded dividends were enterer twice which inflated my AGI. The review phase did not catch the error.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve been using H&R Block software for a few years and have been basically satisfied with how it operates. One frustrating thing, though – for two years in a row, my information has not been carried over to the new return I was starting and so I had to enter it manually.
